Rainy season....

The rainy season started last night at about 9:43 pm. You know how sometimes, when it's raining hard in Canada, you'll say "Oh, it's a torrential monsoon!".

Ya.

It's a torrential monsoon.

Just checked the weather forecast for the next 10 days. Guess what?

It's going to rain.

  • After a week or so of insane busyness and feeling totally overwhelmed with work, home and family, I came to your site to get caught up.

I truly think there is no better thing you could have done but to go to Korea (though I miss having you here in Canada).

You inspire me to have happier days, to embrace the fun of life, and to think about what I really want.

I think I'll start with a chocolate chip cookie. And planning something fun for my summer vay-cay.

  • My friend Bill is in Dharamsala and said he has to swim everywhere now....
"Well, last time I complained about the heat and now it is the rain. The monsoon has arrived in Dharamsala. Yesterday it poured all day so hard I could have swam while walking. I've heard many stories of how much rain falls in the monsoon, but you really have to be in it to appreciate the volume of water. The roads washed out and we had to use 4wd taxis to get up the hill to meet with the Dalai Lama."

  • He met with the Dalai Lama??????? How cool is that?

No washed out roads, but I've never seen rain like this in my life.
